Hi, hurrah for rain today and the past three days, breaking the long dry period. We may get silage after all! I hear thunder roaring so likely to get another downpour hope it is not hail again.
This afternoon we took old ewes to Ludlow market, not too many there, so hope the cold weather encourages the appetite and we get a good price. Some cattle are still in until feed supplies are no more-any day. In the garden the Iris are in full bloom, the blossoms are going over, many fruits have set but this weather will probably knock it off.
We host family /school visits. Post if your interested.
Toys at the shop have not been selling well but children have probably been out in the sunshine.
Our cards have proved popular -- long may it last.
The title is explaining where we farm a delightful area with beautiful views which compensates for not such great returns on our Herefordshire based small Organic holding.
